Straighedge is a personal choice to stay away from things like that because I simply do not want to do them. I do not think I'm holding myself from any "pleasures." I go to parties and have a great time, without the hangover or blackout, and I have just as good as a time as a drinker has. I like having control and thinking straight. You have all the wrong views on straightedge. Do some research. Do you even know how straightedge started?

and apparently you have all the wrong views on drinking. the manner in which oyu talk about it shows that oyu have no concept on drinking/social drinking.
