Ahhhhh yes Woldenstein 3d, Doom 1, Duke Nukem 3d. The good ol days.
You'll get better, you just may need to change your keys around. I use the direction keys for my movement, then the outlying keys for key commands. Like crouch, jump, use, etc. Some people have there leans bound on there mouse or along with there strafe. Thats a level im not willing to take as a think it takes away from the game a little. i still have lean on z and x. You'll get used to it, just give it time.
