I've used film cameras my whole life, starting with my mom's old Canon EOS RebelX about 10 years ago. I've been toying with the idea of a DSLR, and the good things that come from owning one. I really want D series Nikon, like D70, D80 or D200 (none of which I would be able to afford until later) but I'm not sure about the merits of the DSLR apposed to a regular film SLR.
