[quote:033bb]I actually find those pictures the coolest. Clouds, the sun, reflections, and nature just in general seem to give me the most opportunities...i dont come across alot of people willing to get photographed also...im jus a nature guy...
by the way, nice pics.[/quote:033bb]

The pictures I like taken are of shit askew, maybe a branch in a gutter or something -

I posted those Salt Point pictures on a photog forum and someone called them "mundane" - which I would agree with if I wasnt into shoots like these.

[quote:033bb]in terms of your autofocusing problem, try this. [/quote:033bb]

This wasnt working for me. . .until I realized that there were TWO parts of the lens that are adjusted - the length and the part on the end. This is why it wasnt working in manual, I guess I was just adjusting the "focal length" and not the "focus piece". Blargh. Learning this thing is like playing a game like Legend Of Zelda - you get to a boss or a part in the world that youre not able to beat/cross, but then you find an item that allows you to go forward. Focus is my "Hook Shot".
