All depends what category you want to listen to. I usually listen to Trance, when it comes to dance music.
Get yourself listening to DJ tiesto (one of my fav dj's) - adiago for strings you'll have heard of, clockwork orange is a good track, Carl Cox is a well known dj.

techno is actually dance? i think you're only seeing the dance half of electronica from the genres you listed. coleman, there's tons and tons of shit out there. it's hard to recommend you something. basically, do you want catchy dance shit or do you want relaxed and laid back shit? or do you want your brain to explode? |
pretty much. Yeah its actually categoriesed as dance. However I was in a rush for work, and couldnt really go into too much detail. All depends exactly what type of music you want to look into.

Then to make things alot more confusing, there are sub categories within these: Hard trance, electro funk, hard house, and much, much more. I'm not going into large lists.
