I've heard Black Flag, used to like them quite a bit. Have only heard slight amounts of Bad Brains, i'll give em another try. and yeah... if you're not really into the whole "message" of it the music is really uninteresting. And not that i'm against simple music, some of the most minimal music can be far more effective than overly complex stuff. Just seems like lots of those bands put more into the message than the music itself.. Just doesnt interest me.
