Yep, just like American commercials can run for 30 seconds or more.[/quote:371ca]

Ive yet to see an American commercial run for more than 30 seconds. Japanese commercials are either incredibly short, or very long. . .sometimes they will be mini-infomercials. . .youd never see something like that during an episode of LOST.
