Think its safe to say that besides japan and america the ps3 has had a pretty dissapointing debut everywhere else. Price point being the main thing pissing people of over here. Untill it starts delivering this "supercomputer" performance that kuturagi has been talking out of his gaping ass about for the last few years i don't see sales picking up anytime soon.

For all the hype its no better than the 360 despite sonys bs numbers and teraflops performance charts. I think people have also (finally) clued into the fact that the majority of what sony shows of these jawdropping game demos never really materialises in the finished product. Motorstorm is a good example of a game that had these amazing graphics in videos supposdly showing gameplay, it does look pretty good but nowhere near what they initially showed (gametrailers.com vid review showed this pretty well). Guess the supercomputer graphics of an outdated graphics card couldn't handle it. rolleyes: Still awaiting more pre-rendered killzone 2 bs as well.

Only thing im enjoying on the ps3 at the minute is the everybodys golf demo from the japanese demo site. Some nice little touches in it like sometimes you can see little spiders crawling around inside the cup. biggrin:

Sony need to eat some humble pie this time around and learn not to be cocky arrogant fucks like everything they produce is gonna sell like hotcakes. The sooner they get rid of kuturagi the better, last i heard he's practicaly ex-communicating himself from their electronics division and passing the buck of the blame to them because of lack of essential components.
