Fanboyism is a pretty mad stance to have on hardware these days (im using an 8800gts at the minute). Amd has the performance lead for a while but the tide turned with the core 2's. The core 2's may be a bit more expensive but thats only because amd knows it can't compete and is lowering prices everywhere possible.
