Upon second viewing there was ONE questionable situation, the girl. A situation that was elevated when the kids tried to INTERFERE with the man detaining the girl (which the cop has EVERY right to do - hell she had a skateboard in hand, what the fuck was he supposed to think) - the same fella who RAN from the cop.

If this is police brutality man, then fuck it - we just need to get rid of them all, and but everyone on the honor system.

The SINGLE cop was detaining UNCOOPERATIVE suspects. Sorry, but there are situations where force is needed. Unless of course a solution would have been to let them go - which isnt a solution at all.[/quote:b2846]

i wasn't implying that this situation was an instance of police brutality, it was more of a general statement towards arkan's general statement. obviously there are going to be instances when force is necessary, i would never deny that.

one thing to note is that there were two cops, and watch the behaviour of the second one. his nonchalant attitude makes me believe that the situation didn't need to get as severe as it did. he also had mase, that would have solved everything pretty easily than pulling a stone cold steve austin.
