Upon second viewing there was ONE questionable situation, the girl. A situation that was elevated when the kids tried to INTERFERE with the man detaining the girl (which the cop has EVERY right to do - hell she had a skateboard in hand, what the fuck was he supposed to think) - the same fella who RAN from the cop.

If this is police brutality man, then fuck it - we just need to get rid of them all, and but everyone on the honor system.

The SINGLE cop was detaining UNCOOPERATIVE suspects. Sorry, but there are situations where force is needed. Unless of course a solution would have been to let them go - which isnt a solution at all.[/quote:96d4e]

sure, there are situations where force is needed, like if a drunk is being belligerent and threatening other people or some bullshit like that. these kids were sober (as far as anyone can tell) and only telling the cop to calm down and he puts them in headlocks. to me, thats complete bullshit.
