I've mentioned before how my Creative Zen Vision:M is probably the best thing I've ever bought. Looks great, sounds great, simple software that works perfectly, good support if things go wrong.

But for what your wife would need, I would probably go for the Sansa. They're really nice and simple. She doesn't need any of the extra crap I'm presuming so just go simple.
