Oh man that chick is screwed. Big distance like that at a young age is horrible for your body. High school coaches i worked with had fits when we would do 300 mile weeks, roughly 40 miles a day. Its just to much wear and tear on a developing frame, your joints get tore up pretty bad and your bones dont grow right. For her to be eight and doing it has to be 10x's worse since thats a hard core developmental stage.
I would put money on her not making the 2016 games at 17, because her frame will be to tore up. Especially since i doubt her diet is up to snuff for burning that many calories and being replenished. Good eatting is a huge part of good running and i just dont see her getting everything she needs to be doing that kind of milage.
