There's no denying the Sox are hot right now. On paper it looks like they have the edge over the Rockies. Sox are notorious for choking though. They've really only got 3 pitchers though. Daisuke, Schilling and Becket. Now compare that to the fact that they've played lackluster offensive teams. The Indians had decent hitting and the Angels hitting was more or less a joke. The Angels got into the playoffs because of their division. I think the Sox are up against a real wall when it comes to the Rocks. Holliday and Matsui are hitting HOT right now. Granted the Rocks have some rookie pitching, but their defense is pretty good. Compare that to the fact that Sox only have bats and pitching to rely on. Now when I say rely on, I mean look at the fact that Rockies are hitting so good and chewing through really good opposing pitchers. Plus it's still up in the air how the Sox are going to use David Ortiz. Ortiz is pretty much their main weapon, but how or where he'll see playing time in the field is laughable. Top that off with the fact that Coors field has so many deep pockets in the outfield, it's going to be a wonder to see how Manny gets to those.

In the short, I'm going with the Rocks. I see the Rocks in 6.
