The date of the model was 2008-03-10 so its a brand new version of the console.

This is my choice, please help me decide:

I can keep the disk and the console and -

Can get the disk 'Skimmed' for £1.50 from where I bought it from (takes a few days)

Can use toothpaste/brasso method for now

or

Send the console back to Microsoft to get repaired and hopefully get Microsoft to pay for the scratched GTA4 disk too (will all take about 3 weeks)

Can't decide, because what if it scratches disks again.....
