What a VERY narrowminded view to believe that its all up to ability for someone to scratch and claw their way to financial security.

That's the problem I see EVERY day at my job - states thinking they can placate a man or woman with a 9 dollar an hour job, and raise 3 kids while doing it.

The mentality is that as long as your working - youre a success.
