Wow, I had no idea this was something ppl didn't know how to do ! Personally, I use my on-board sound for my headset, since I certainly don't want chat thru my speakers, and this allows me to set my headset at a different volume than my game sound. Yeah, once you have the proper dirvers installed and both sound cards work, it's as simple as telling windows (in your control panel) what sound card you want it to use for regular audio and the game, and your communications (or any other configurable software really) what you want it to use.
