Uhm...I thought I read something about the x-pack fixing that problem, among others (throw a nade, or fire a rocket, then change team, get someone to blow a mine for you to run past it...stuff like that) but it didn't say anything about older maps not being compatible...
My guess is they will still be playable, but what do I know...
