Anytime you are live on the net without firewall protection you are at risk. I am sure you can run MOHAA without turning off your Norton. All you have to do is tell the Norton Firewall program what program you want to connect to the internet with (MOHAA). A friend of mine uses it and it works fine for playing the game. If you are trying to run a server, thats more difficult.
