Paint shop pro is easier than photo shop. So if your just looking to make sigs and such, id go with Paintshop pro. I havnt run into a problem i couldnt figure out using it and i've done some neat stuff.

I have both. I use Photoshop More than PSP. I like it better. More strightfoward to me. But they both do the job so whichever you feel more comfortable using.

Photoshop 7. If you are looking for something cheaper or easier I would recommend Ulead PhotoImpact over Paintshop.
