The swearing needs to stop. -
10-31-2002, 04:56 PM
Over the past month , I have noticed that the use of harsh profanity has risen to ridiculous levels on these forums. Most good threads end up being just people cussing out one another, calling people fags and queers and other harsh sexual terms, posting pictures with the phrases "STFU", "You're gay, get the F out!!", "F off n00b!!", etc. If this childish crud does not stop soon, this site and the people that represent and run this site are going to get a very bad reputation around the MOHAA community. You don't see all this at PMOH. Since the AA server forbids swearing, I think these forums should forbid it to a certain degree. Something for everybody to think about.

You're an idiot. Can't you see that if every thread thurns out to be useless crap then nobody will want to post here anymore? Just because I say people need to act more decent doesn't mean I'm a little "Christian choir boy".

I don't mind the swearing as much, it's the constant use of the F-word and the constant racist and childish remarks. There are rules here and I think Rudedog or Colonel or Pfc. Green or any body with even the slightest bit of maturity will agree with me that this kind of behavior is childish and unacceptable. Of course you are right, if I don't like it, I am welcome to leave, and I might just be doing that soon.

Well, I don't go here much anymore because every thread turns into some weird crap and talking about some strange things, but there is quite a bit of swearing I've seen, but it don't bother me very much as I don't go here anymore, just every once in a while, and it's up to people to say what they say.

oOo: while I think swearing to an excess is pretty bad, and should'nt happen, a little swearing is alright.

I don't understand why people need to swear in the first place. It just proves ones insolence.

I don't have a problem with swearing. I even swear way to much... but it HAS gotten pretty bad here. Not that I'm complaining though.
