Use my gradient mask blending method with the scanlines opaque at the right, moving transparent to the left so they fade into the flag. That might look cool. The scanlines are too heavy like that.

i see scanlines are the new thing now, guess i cant use em oOo:

to get the whole sig scanlined, merge all of the pics together by pressing ctrl+e

Looks good, but like Magnum said, go easy on the scan lines, maybe make them of a lower opacity?
