You could buy a Remington 870 shotgun. They have many differant barrel configurations to choose. You could set it up with a slug barrel for deer hunting or a 28 inch barrel with choke tubes. Its a good universal gun.

Yeah like Mike said what kind of weapon do you really want? Rifle, shotgun, handgun, etc... For a hunting rifle I recommend the Remington 700 series .308. For a shotgun that Remington 870 is a good choice. For a handgun you can get a Glock G-18, a Sig-Sauer P229 (Best handgun manufacturer IMO) or a Magnum Research handgun.

Yeah diarrhea, I own a Mossberg 500 series 12 gauge full choke, and the remington 700 chambered in .308(those moose are hard to take down ya' know) with a bushnell Sportsman scope. In about four months my grandad is going to give me his k98k, I'm totally psyched. I shot it last season, goddamn It's incredible.
