You liked that?
That was by far the wost CFL game i've ever watched in my entire life.
Do you know how many CFl games i've watched? Hundreds.
Both teams looked like High school football teams out there. Calgary is in deep shit this year. If they play the way they did last night, they won't win another game this season. You gotta score touchdowns when you're in the red zone. Ottawa didn't even have ANY positive yardage until 8 minutes left in the second quarter. Calgary went to the red zone THREE times and only came away with three field goals because they couldn't punch it in. By the midpoint of the second quarter it COULD have been 21-0 Calgary, instead it was 9-0 and Ottawa was still in the game without their offence having done one single thing right. One touchdown and they were right back in it.
Not to mention all the bloody turnovers. It looked like they were holding onto greased duck shit, not a football.
And winning by 15 points with 8 minutes left, and losing by the end of the game is not acceptable. You have to be the worst fucking team on the planet to pull that one off. Way to go Calgary.
And what about the no yards call on Hebert's punt. Do these guys even know how the fuck to play Canadian Football? 5 yards is the rule. Luckily the reffs sucked ass and said Ottawa declined the penalty, which game Calary an extra point since the punt was into the end zone, when they really wanted to accept the penalty, give no points up, and start on the 35 yard line.
I suppose the game was entertaining. Quite nerveracking. However, it was the biggest piece of shit game i';ve ever seen played by any two teams, and probably the worst reffed game i've seen to go along with that.
If you liked what you saw there, you'll probably find all other CFL games boring. Normally the reffs are better, and the teams don't suck.
And why don't you go to a game at Frank Claire? Ottawa only had 22,000 people out there. Last Calgary game it was sold out and we've only won 1 game this season in 6 tries!
OK, i'm done. That game really pissed me off. I said don't get rid of Jim Barker. Everyone was calling for his head, but he had a GREAT team last year. They would have been grey cup contenders this year if Barker was here. Instead everyone got upset and threw him out after one year behind the bench. News Flash: you can't build a team in one year.
And they think Matt Dunnigan is the answer to the problems? Never coached in his life, and on top of that he's made GM? Gimmie a break. Matt has had one too many concussions.
OK, now i'm really done. happy:
