Default PC to Mac? - 01-13-2005, 09:01 PM

I searched google and found some very vague info, but nothing that could help me out. Here is my question.

I need to know if I can just burn a Mac app to cd and then transfer it to her mac so she can run it, or do have have to change anything up so she can open and install the program. I have one main folder and two sub-folders for the app.

I remember using macs in college you had to format floppys to get macs to read them, but I am unsure what to do with data cd's.

Thanks guys......

I'm not worried about wasting cd's, she lives an 1 1/2 and I want to get it right the first time so it is somewhat important that it works out. I already burned on copy but I'm not sure her mac will read it.

Thanks for your input though.

what mac os does she have? if its panther it should convert whatever it was so it can read it. there shouldnt be a problem. if there is it was because windows did something to the app.

Good question, I'll have to find that out tomorrow.

She has 0S 10.2.6, before Panther I guess. F-it, I'll just take the disc I already burned.

Yeah, it should work. We send one CD with programs and shit to customers where I work, and it works for both PC and Mac. So there shouldnt be a problem.

Thnx Tyst, I'll give it a try this weekend.

As for Macs, I think they suck dick but I didn't want to bash them before I got answers to this post. I rag on my girlfriend's mac all the time.
