so last night I plug in my digi camera to upload some pics like I have done 100000 times b4...suddenly USB ERROR and my mouse and keyboard stop working.
I plug them into some different ports and all is well. I think hmm thats weird so I plug my camera back in and it shows its connected...but doesnt start up the upload.
so i decide Ill reinstall jthe driver again.
I do this and think im all set, plug my camera back in
USB ERROR! flashes for a second and POOF computer shuts completely off and will NOT turn back on again....WTF!!!!!!!!!!!
my psu works in the wifes cpu when hooked up....the processor looks fine so hopefully it is Just jthe mobo. I did a couple tests and her mobo always fired up, while mine did not. so its not my PSU or power switch
I think jthe mobo died, which is AWESOME since I only bought it 2 freekin months ago.
I just RMAed it to Newegg so hopefully that will fix the problem

Also if anybody could suggest an decent 400W psu and or case for around 60 bucks or so...Im thinking of upgrading that instead of these craptacular 350 built in genaric pieces of crap that I have had.
I think thats the cause of my lockups and random restarts prior to the mobos death.

[quote="Mr.Buttocks":bc634]I have an Antec TruePower 430W or 480W......not sure which. It hasn't blown up yet so I guess that's a good sign. oOo:[/quote:bc634]
I second getting a Truepower. I have a 380W TP in my A64 system (2 HDDs,
1 DVD-R, 1 FDD + 1 HDD Caddy) and I have yet to encounter any problems.
Truepower 380, for example, means that it guarantees a minimum of 380W
to your system whereas a regular (not TP) 400W power supply will supply only
a maximum of 400... never over.
