Default American Wars of the 20th/21st Centuries - 05-22-2005, 06:38 AM

I'm doing an assignment for Uni regarding American wars at the moment. I was wondering if someone could direct me to a site that has a list of such wars.

I need it to be a site, rather than just the info straight, since i have to reference it.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me dance:

wow, Philipine war was quite bloody indeed...

[quote:f9e74]CASUALTY FIGURES:

U.S.-- 4,234 dead and 2,818 wounded.

Philippines-- 20,000 military dead and 200,000 civilian dead. (approximate numbers). Some historians place the numbers of civilian dead at 500,000 or higher.

UNIQUE FACTS OR TRENDS:

1. This was the first major land campaign fought by the U.S. outside of the Western Hemisphere.

2. The Philippine-American War can be considered America's first "Imperialistic" conflict.[/quote:f9e74]
