They also had Jordan, the best player in the game...he would take over games....this is a total team approach, everyone stepped in @ crunch time...Man I just wish they would have covered Horry...we could be poppin the corks.

the only people taking over for the pistons we're Rip and Billups, Sheed and Wallace came up with some clutch buckets in the 4th quarter , but billups FT % is insane

I might be the only guy here that watched 76 out of 82 of the pistons regular season games. That was a good effort, but not our best. We played smart and didn't turn the ball over, but our offense still lacks motion and passing against their D. We also let Parker and Ginobli get to the bucket without any problems in the first 3 quarters. Finally, we lost our cool several times with the officiating. I can't say that all of the calls were fair, especially bailing Duncan out of a few bad situations, but we have to understand that this is the NBA FINALS. We aren't going to get every call, especially on their home floor.
I have to agree; each player stepped up in the last three minutes. Sheed hit a monster 3, and got a putback that put us back on top, not to mention a steal from either Parker or Ginobili. Ben had a tremendous block on Ginobili. Tayshaun hit that swooping ugly hook right out of a timeout to cushion our lead. You already mentioned the guard play... Chauncy is a machine.
