I have to completly shut down Norton to play since I patched the game. Is there a way to allow bf2 stuff so this stops?

it says "so and so is trying to access your computer" then you click to allow but it just keeps popping up over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over

go into the options of the firewall and add the BF2.exe to the allowed program list. I don't know how to do it in Norton, but you can do it in McAfee
that would probably work

had the same f-ing problem man, This is what I did and it solved my problem, but it was norton antivirus doing it, you can probably do the same for the firewall, open up norton > options > internet worm protection > program control > find battlefield 2, REMOVE IT, then when you start up battlefield 2 again, it was ask to access the internet, click permit and that should be the only time it should ask. worked for me.
