I am looking into buying a car very soon (dont really want to ride my moms bike to work in the winter time lol) and I dont want to get screwed on insurance (even though insurance itself is a huge scam) and NO im not going with Geico

I use progressive.

It all depends on your driving record age, car etc...

If you get some shit wagon just get PLPD. itll be cheaper, but if you wreck your car it covers the accident cost etc, but your car is toast you dont get money to get a new one.

Full insurance is good if your paying on the car still, and or its a ncie one.

if your car is totatalled you get a new one etc.

Just shop around. Some local cheap ass insurance may be all you need not some big name company.

look for a broker. they'll search all the insurance companies and find you the best rate.

I use State Farm, dont know if they have that in Canada. There is more to an ins company than price. Service has to be there too. If I have a prob I just call Mill and he takes care of everything, I mean everything

Do they deal with Canada? because it asks for a zip code if I want to get a quote, and in Canada, our "zip codes" are Postal Codes, and that site won't accept that.

Don't know about Canadian Progressive, perhaps look into State Farm, they operate internationally I think.
