Does anybody know how to get video from a DV tape on to the computer? My camera has a USB connection, but I cant figue put how to get the video on the computer. I use Pinnacle Studio 9 software
I use Windows Movie Maker. I suggest getting it (it's free) if you can't get Pinnacle Studio 9 working for you. In it, just select the "capture video" option and then you're on your way.

I use Adobe Premiere Pro, usually just use a firewire [or 4 u a usb] connect to le pc, turn camera on and go to the 'capture' settings. you'll have to go through your settings....try different usb ports if all else fails, but the camera obviously has to be on and prolly in playback mode
