this question is inspired by watching indianajones and the last crusade , when jones tries to get back his father's diary and he ends up coming face to face with hitler . is there any chance that our hero ,lt. powell, will have the same opportunity ? ...that would be awesome . i think .

It would be cool if there was a mission where we would have to prevent some of the German officials from killing Hitler like in the Dirty Dozen...hehe

this could be a possibility ... i read somewhere that the OSS were actually talking about the assasination atempts with the Reich generals

[/quote:9f442] Actually, I believe that the Allies didn't want him dead since he controlled the army and most of the time he didn't know what he was doing, so he made big mistakes that helped the Allies.

yea . supposedly there were people in the OSS who were in negotiations with the germans but Roosevelt objected to the whole thing because hitler's blunders , like you said . theres also several other political reasons why they didnt go along with it
