i'm new to making maps, trying my first room. followed the all tutorials step by step and i have no problem making the room and saving it and i get a bak. file and a map. file but my problem comes when i try to compile it, i'm useing mbuilder and it setup the way the tutorial said and when i go to compile my map file i get errors, the first one says matchtoken ( "<" ) failed at line 2 in file scripts/wsnp_gear.shader, the next error says no such file and the next error is the same as the first and the last error is the same as the first and when it's done all i get is a builder bat. file not a bsp. file like i thought. am i doing something wrong somewhere, plzzzzz help me. i tried 4 diffrent tutorial sites and i get the same outcome, is there a site for dumbass like me who can't firgure it out. thx to everyone who helps me

match token ("{") failed at line [line number]. You broke a shader while editing it. Go closely look at the shader you most recently edited. Chances are you'll find a bracket error in the syntax

meaning. find the brush thats giving the error.
open mohradiant
open the map
Select EDIT
enter the brush # from the error
it will select that brush.
then delete it

rungsi you lost me, how do i know what brush is the problem, i get the same error on every diffrent room i try to compile, i even reinstalled mohradiant and still the same outcome, i'm really trying to understand, i just want to get my first room working so i can see it. plzzzzz help

Where can i get a map maker, i downloaded 1 from the official mohaa ea site but it turned out to be a fncking screen saver, so where can i get one please
