ok so tonight i was playng on this server with 2 guys..me on axis & 2 guys on allied (1 being the host) anyhoo i kept getting owned & i could not hear his gun fire or see him so i was getting rather pissed off & asked "WTF! are you invisable or something?' he just laughed & said "want me to prove it to you?" i said yea & i was running around & all of a sudden i came to a stop in the middle of no where & he said "can you see me now" i still could not see him but i knew something was blocking me so i fired off a round of my smg & saw my blood mod spraying blood out & finally killed him....I then called him a cock sucking cheater & left. anyone seen anything like this before?

it's called a bug, type vid_restart in console

i'm sure he appreciates being called a cock sucker.

Once I had to type vid_restart twice because It came up with them invisible again and once I types it a second time I could see them. Also did this guy have any deaths?

did you try forced models?

could be a server sided mod. Everyone is invisible. ed:

99% of the time it's what strik0r said a bug in MOH.

he had no deaths till i spun around in circles firing off smg rounds finally killing him.....

still no reason to accuse him of cheating and going off like you did, BUT, if vid_restart didn't work and force models didn't help, try to either a) reconnect, or b) restart mohaa (perhaps something didn't load correctly)

I've had this happen to me alot in matches. Usualy i do vid_restart but if that doesn't work reconnecting to the game through console clears it up. If that doesn't work I have no idea what to say. Call him a cheater again I guess.

i dont bother with vid_restart.. it takes so much time. i just reconnect to the server. that always fixes it first time.

First thing was this a demo server? Because if it was a demo server the person couldhave beenn using a skin you didn't have and become invisible.

The simple fact of the matter is that you cannot, in any way, cheat by making yourself invisible.

So, it was a bug or code defect.

vid_restart has never failed to work for me.. I even have a key bound to it now.

Sometimes this can occur whereas even vid_restart won't resolve the problem. Sometimes you have to leave the game, then return in order for it to fix.
