Default PETA's ass kicked by small children in Scotland. - 10-16-2002, 09:28 AM

Heard this on FOX news.

PETA went to a school in Scotland to promote their fight against drinking milk....to kids, wrong move hake: The PETA speaker and his partner (dressed as a cow oOo: ) were pelted with little milk cartons thrown by the school children, this went on until the cops showed up!

All I can say is those little Scottish kids kick ass, stupid PETA biggrin:

wouldn't cows get sick and die if they're not milked in time though?

The only thing worse than a fanatical activist is a misinformed fanatical activist

Haha i bet PETA didnt know what hit em - well besides milk of course.

Thing that bugs me about those types, is no doubt they a vegetarian, and will moan about animals being eaten, and that you should eat veggies instead - well correct me if im wrong, but unless they want to spend day in day out on a farm doing manual labour, i think the tractors and combine harvesters that grow their beloved veggies do more harm to the environment from exhaust fumes that what a bunch of cows eating grass in a field all day to be milked does.

What is so unethical about drinking milk from a cow? Is it because their kind of trapped etc.?

Thats pretty gay.

I don't really see how people can justify that its wrong to eat animals. remember were at the top of the food chain. We get to eat what we want. Until that changes, I guess theres always gonna be people that are pissed off about everything.

Yeah, its BS! What happens when a Lion eats a wilderbeast? Cruelty? Its fucking nature. We are just taking part in nature, by exercising our position in the fucking food chain. These people piss me off.....

I do think there is something sick about a slaughterhouse, but what else can be done? Humans need food. hake:

Actually I could kind of see a point how cows are bred just for food.

How would we feel if some giant bugs took over the planet and bred us and then put us in a slaughter house and enjoyed human bacon and brain, but then again, Cows can't really think like humans can. But still...

The point is, no other species on the planet drinks the milk of another: it
wouldn't make sense as it wasn't made for them. Also, consider that aside
from a bit of Vitamin D ans calciun here and there, you don't need human
milk after infancy: drinking cow milk isn't good for you. Finally, if you want
more info, see http://www.milksucks.com and http://www.notmilk.com

I know what you're thinking because I thought the same thing before going:
eek:

After, though, I was like this: ed:

I'm not limiting my milk consumption because cows are being mistreated
by the dairy industry, rather because of the unsanitary conditions they get
the cow's milk from AND the way they process it. Mmm, puss-filled glass of
(edit) steroid/hormone boosted (/edit) osteoporosis giving fluid...

If any of those PETA people are Christian, they deserve a slap.

Firstly, NEVER get into an argument with a vegetarian or a vegan. They are ALWAYS right. This isn't someone "thinking" they are right - their argument is fucking solid -

As humans, there is ZERO need for us to exploit animals for our consumption other than human greed.

Think about it. All "goodness" from meat can be gotten from somewhere else.

The only thing I could come up with, is that I dont support or condone the treatment of animals for the foods we have, but as a omnivore, I needs me my meats.

But yea, vegetarians are the only real fanatics I know who can get away with being nutty cause they are fucking right.
