Default Sick of spawn killing - 10-19-2002, 02:06 AM

hey, I run a dedicated server and sick of players spawn killing each other. I have seen a mod where the Tanks are added to the Spawn points for the stock maps. Anyone knows where or help me find this mod? Thanks a bunch.

This is a new one... One thing that I had problems with when I ran my clan, was that the spawn points in the TDM weren't done in any systematic (sp?) order. So it took a while to regroup. My point with the spawning system MoH offers, I don't see how Spwan Camping could a major problem.

LOL. Then you've been very lucky. Remagen, Snowy Park, and Destroyed Village to name a few have pretty bad spawn points - usually right in the open. Yes, they are slightly sporadic can sometimes not in the open, but mostly they are - and some snipers like to take advantage of this (spawn, one step, two step... die - and that's if they're nice). Some don't even bother sniping and use smg's instead.

In any case, I know exactly how you feel, Ice. The name of the mod is called Dog Meat's Map Fixes. However, there's a new one he's working on now that incorporates a number of fixes called Dog Tags. Look for the map fixes in the downloads section, but look for Dog Tags in the forum. I personally use Dog Tags and can't praise it enough. I can't wait until some of the other features he's working on come in either.

Hope that helps - we all need to bring an end to the spawn killers of the world. eatthis:

Well, i have had trouble with spawn killers in the past, but it doesnt matter if they are at the spawn points most of the time. If you have the skill you can usually take them down as soon as you respawn.

Ya that too. For the the most part the spawn campers, may have a bit of a jump on you but if your fast and accurate enough, it shouldn't be a problem

Thank you for that enlightening piece of information Hobbs, but I have in actual fact read it all before.

As for bars closing at 11pm - They do in the UK, if they close later in the US, im moving.

And Slaughter - maybe you should read the forum rules as well, because you are in fact spamming as well.

So lay off me! :P

Oops, thats another two...

[quote:6f57a]( 1 ). No swearing (To an extreme)

Especially in the thread topic header. There are allowances ofcourse and you
may swear WITHIN the thread but keep that swearing in the posts as little as
possible. It makes the place look untidy and not very inviting. Yeah I do it
myself (sometimes those words just slip) but not to an extreme as some have
done in the past. Swearing is OK, but only in moderataion.
[/quote:6f57a]

[quote:6f57a]( 4 ). Be considerate of others, act maturely, there are a great deal of people
here who make it there mission to piss people off. I dont like it, and
the Vets around here dont like it either. [/quote:6f57a]

Look, so what if i post alot, i just like helping people when i can.
