Default how do i do this? - 10-20-2002, 02:06 AM

in bf1942 it says to fix the refresh rate by

-Open the videodefault.con file found in Settings\VideoDefault.con
-Edit the line: renderer.allowAllRefreshRates # (where # can be
replaced
by 0 or 1)
-Changing this value to one will allow you to select the refresh rates
from the
Options>Video section of the in-game frontend. NOTE: the game will
default to 640x480.

So how do i open this folder? what kinda zip thingy do i need?

They want you to use Notepad and open the file videodefault.con which
resides in your " (X: \ Battlefield 1942 )\Settings\ " directory. When you
see a line with the info "renderer.allowAllRefreshRates 0 OR 1" , if it is
set at 0, change it to 1. Also, check in the game's options menu for a
resolution change. If you already did this, refer to the first part of my
little explanation...

Good luck!
