Avatars -
10-21-2002, 03:22 PM
First of all, I would like to know if it is possible to make a mod so that you can see the enemies Avatar in game as well as the Axis Avatar at the same time. This would greater my chances in seeing the enemy first and I would like to know if this can be done...
Anyone!?!

That would be cheating, if it's even possible. Just like forcing neon skins.

Though this would probably be considered cheating too, I wonder if it's possible to display an enemy's health. Perhaps in the area where an enemy name pops up when they shoot you, it could display how much health they have remaining. This wouldn't be cheating in that it helps see people easier, but I'm sure someone could come up with a reason it could be called cheating...

Well say for instance your in a shootout and you get to the point where you both miss and have to reload - you could judge weather or not to pull the pistol out by looking at the enemies health bar.
Basically you could use it to know who to pick on in a battle - shoot at the one with the lowest health - you get more kills!
Some people would see that as definatly cheating. But a cool idea - i have a;ways wanted to know that too.

Well I don't mean that the enemy's health would display when you hover the cursor over them, like it does for allies. That would make it easier to spot people, and THEN it would be cheating. Like I said, if it just added their health number to the end of their name when they shoot you, I don't think it would be considered cheating.
For example if you have a mauser and you shoot someone and they shot you, you could see how much health they have and know how careful you have to be with the next shot. If they have low life you can just hit them anywhere, but if they have high health then you have to aim properly. That's useful, no?

Haha, that's true. I guess there's no real benefit of knowing how much health they have, but I'm a curious bastard, and I wanna know. =)
