The whole sniper thing is really driving me wild!! -

Ok the whole sniper thing is getting REALLY ANNOYING. What is up with the stupid news stations?!
CNBC - Sniper
Fox News -Sniper
CNN - Sniper
CLTV - Sniper
Ofcourse, CNN did mention the Chechen hostage situation for about five minutes, and then it went back to its twelve hour sniper coverage. Don't the people care? What is wrong with these "news"?! There is a terrorist hostage situation and it involves hundreds of people including foreigners from UK, the US, Germany, Austria and Australia. Doesn't the U.S. give a damn? Why? Your own people are in the hostage situation. Anyway, I would also like to ask why do the attacks on Israelis get more coverage than this attack on Moscow where 500 people are kept captive. Does this make any sense?

The terrorists in the theater. You wont see this picture in the news, that's for sure.

Right now, in the US, the sniper news is much more important than a hostage taking. Thats what people want to see. Russia doesn't really effect them, but the sniper does.
I guess I really shouldn't be saying anything since i'm not an America, but I think its pretty clear.

Spooge welcome to America, the self-centered society.. didn't you notice how quickly the Bali bombing disappeared from the news here. It's all about dollars, foreign problem just doesn't sell the news here. So we sit here like idiots until someone flies planes into our buildings, and then we ask why did they do that? For the most part we are blind to the plight of the rest of the world unless it effects our economy.

still...it is over done...I could see 9/11 maybe being tis long (though that was over done too)
they take the towers out of movies like spiderman and shit...but we ahve to see them collapse 1 millions times...I don't understand
anyways they should give the hostage situation more cover...they are a news station and should cover more.

I actually wish that they would feature more about the hostage situation. especially now that they caught the guy. Its terrible that 10 people did, but in Russia 500 people could die instantly.

The sniper thing- It's done, OVER!! MOVE ON!! The sniper is CAPTURED. Hey, THREE AMERICANS are kept hostage in the theater, so for the love of god, let the news show IMPORTANT WORLD CHANGING news. The sniper doesn't really have any affect on the world in any way anymore. I'm about to throw my television set out the window!!!

No it's not. The sniper is GONE-arrested. And nobody answered my question on why do the Palestinian attacks get more coverage; they usually have a debate and so on. When Arafat was held in his compound, that got lots of coverage. 500 hostages in Moscow-five minutes per two hours: in between the sniper extravaganza marathons.

Its not done. Until he is charged and in jail and everyone knows everything about what happened and all this it will never be over.

We have made Isreal problems our problems. Where as the Chechens are Russia's problem alone.

Yes, you are right. That is what the news stations are doing. They are trying to cover the two sniper's lives hour by hour, from birth till now, or at least it seems like it. "Did Mother Teresa affect the snipers? What do the snipers think of Jackass the movie? What are the sniper's favorite colors?" What is their favorite Seinfeld episode? Do they play Counterstrike?", and many other important nuggets of information will be shared by the media within the next fifteen days of nonstop 24 hour coverage of the $/|/1p0rZ.

Kind makes you think that the Media is actually run by the National Enquirer editorial staff.
