What I don't get is that AVP2 is probably going to be released after MOHAA and they allready have a demo out. It is pretty slow, but it is out.

Why do you want the game to be released later than sooner ?? What would be the possible use of this ?? The game is now very close to being finished, Beta testing and "tweaking" is pretty much all that remains, why would they have to wait until perhaps next year (disappointing many fans) when they seem quite happy with the final product ? I dont see the use in it, sure if theres a major glitch that needs immediate work and will set the game back a bit, sure, but if 2015 is happy and EA is happy why knock back the release date ?? From even the videos released the game looked very solid, so what would possibly hold back the release for later this year ??

"And we'll be ready for the demo rush (which, someone from EA told me that it will be sooner than you think... *whoops* I didn't say that did I?)."
*Taken from announcement board*

Some new info on the *DEMO*, Yay! How much sooner? I guess we'll just have to wait and see. This is some great news, unless it's the same guy as "Voodoo Extreme's" secret source ! |

Well if its sooner than i think im thinking before the end of september so hopefully it'll be before that.
Wonder if they will release 2 seperate demos of single and multiplayer modes or will it be just single player or integrated single and multi?

Ok i would like the game to come later than sooner too! I mean take Blizzard for example, they take FOREVER for there games to be released. They almost always delay a game 2 maybe 3 times before it is accuattly released. Why do they do this, to make sure there is not a single bug or problem, to make the game as balenced and enjoyable as possible. Games like Warcraft2 and Starcraft are still being play ALOT even after the fact that they have both been out for 5+ years... Those are just great classic games that we will be playing for many years to come.
That is how I hope my experiences with mohaa will be. I hope 5 years from now i am still playing it and not lettin it collect dust with all of the other crappy games. So that is why i think mohaa should come out later, so it can perfect and not ruin it for the rest of us...

"Me thinks Badscript knows too much" Quote from Solidus. I'm beginning to think the same thing. lol. I think Lincoln has told him stuff about the game making Badscript swear not to tell anyone else or he wouldn't give him any other info. And whatever happened to all that "community stuff" that Lincoln said we were getting very soon. It made it sound like we were getting some [good]new stuff in like a week or two.

Won't happen. Not the same type of game at
all: doesn't require THAT long to test and
iron out bugs.

It will come out Around Oct/Nov, everyone
will be happy playing the game without bugs
and fragging away a short time later
I for one think the best bug removers are the
masses : once they have everyone playing the
game on their respective setups, if bugs
should be encountered, they will be delt with
extreme prejudice
oh well... guess I'm one of those folk'll
that really doesn't give two shits because
he knows better. |

And btw, Starcraft/Warcraft are still beingplayed because they ARE great games, not
because they are free of bugs.. that's just
an added plus... very insignificant added +

why do i want them to delay the release for continual testing? do you remember the WWIIOL launch? well i had been at the forums for about a year and a half when it was released, and before 6 June CRS (developers) were assuring us that the game was ready for release and it would be well worth our 50 dollars. 50,000 people were duped that first day, 20,000 of those returned the game within a week. that game had one of the worst launches in history. i just dont want to see another game go down like that, even though i am not sure how this one could since it is not MMO. still just kinda paranoid...

WW2 OL was a massively multiplayer online game with a continuos campaign running, and hundreds, if not thousands, of people and AI playing (or trying to play) all at once. There's internet errors, lag, and whole slew of many other online related problems. MOH:AA is nothing like that, it has a singleplayer, and a small (compared to WW2 OL) Multiplayer mode. Those problems that WW2 OL had were mostly due the scope of the game, and the online nature of it. There may be a few bugs in MOH:AA, but there won't be anything like WW2 OL. |
