It's bad enough to hear a newbie accuse a good player of cheating. How old can that get?

But there is a disturbing new trend in MOHAA that is just plain ludicrous. In the beginning, people complained about shottie whores and rocket fags (myself included eek: ). There were good arguments for why the players who used those weapons were labeled as lame.

Now, it seems no weapon is sufficient enough to be deemed skill worthy. I was using the STG in a realism server the other day and got called a "no talent STG fag" by a player using the M1 Garand. Hey, the Garand is a pretty wicked weapon in realism, so dont tell me that its unbalanced against the STG. You can crank out a lot of lead quickly, and you only need 1 hit to drop someone.

But it is not only the STG: seemingly any weapon, if you kill someone with it, is somehow considered to have given you the edge. No longer do you see many people say nice shot. The only time I ever hear that anymore is when I use the Mauser.

My point is, if you get fragged by someone, dont automatically assume that it is because of some weapon imbalance. Maybe you are facing a good player.

So stop all the blubbering, get on with the game, and go back in fighting.

I have to go with the Mauser. It's a bolt-action and it requires perfect timing along with maneuvering abilities.

Gotta be the KAR. I personally think that the accuracy has been beefed up slightly to offset the fact that it's fixed sites and bolt action. I love the sound of firing the KAR in MOHAA. Reminds me of the sound of it in that TV show "Combat" that came out in the 70's. eek:

Someone from OTD dating themselves. biggrin: Next thing you know you'll be talking about "the rat patrol" <- I loved that show as well as Combat.

I also said the Kar, because of the slow reload time and the " I must kill with one shot or be killed attitude"

Definitely the unscoped mauser...I'm useless with that thing (more useless than usual...)

Well I voted for the KAR, and why not... It takes a lot better eyes than a STG, But just the whole complaing about wepons in general pisses me off...

I mean I know this post really is headed in that direction. But hell, I am not Fan of whinners in any fasion, unless if there only joking of course, heh

either the KAR or bazooka. dont get me wrong, i think the bazooka takes some skill to not get killed fast cause it loads really slow and you move 100 time slower than anyone else. but the unscoped rifle is probably the hardest.
