Default I need help on possible IRQ conflict. - 11-11-2002, 06:04 AM

I have been getting major sound problems lately (sound locks up) so I go to device manager and looks. 2 things are sharing the same IRQ with the SMBus Controller or something like that, anywho it says that its the system device controller. now to the question, APCI and OHIC 1394 were on same IRQ i disabled OHIC because I dont need that problem got a little better but not fixed. Do you guys think disabling APCI will fix it?

Why don't you try setting the ressources manually ? Not disabling...

Give us the EXACT names of the things sharing the same IRQ, and I'll tell ya what exactly you should do. Just give me the full name, and the IRQ # they share. Also, list free IRQ's you have.
