Default Serious Problem - Next Malicious Hack? - 11-29-2002, 01:30 AM

Was playing on my server this evening, it was full. During a map change from mohdm4 to mohdm6 (Crossroads to Stalingrad), every single person connected had their game shut down on them. The console error was something about an unrecognized delta entity. Now, my game crashes every now and then. But this has never happened on our server (been running the same pk3s and .cfgs for months) and it happened to every single person so far as I could tell. Any ideas?

i don't know about the error or anything but i've seen this happen a few times where someone tries to change the map right when the map ends and it crashes everyone's game.

Yikes, ok let's try a few things.

1) Uninstall/Reinstall MOH: http://mohaa.xgshosting.com/joe/installguide.htm

2) Make sure you have no custom mods/skins/maps in your MOH\Main folder.

That's all I could suggest for this type of problem. I've never heard of this before.

The big thing is that I've been running the mods I have now for months, and I've been playing the game since a month after its release. I've never seen anything like this, especially not when we're talking about it affecting the entire server. My provider uninstalled/reinstalled the game, so hopefully it was just a fluke.
