Default Need help - 12-02-2002, 01:58 PM

swordfight: OK, i have a prob. here. Im doing a map and i have my map.bsp done. The problem is that i want to see how it looks and I dont know how to run it. I used to work with q3radiant, but it is not the same to run a .bsp file in quake3 as it is in mohaa. If anyone knows how to do it please tell me.

Thanks

Just a devmap in the console should do it.

devmap mymap
or
devmap dm/mymap
or, if you have created an obj map, goto multiplayer menu and select your map from the list.

create a folder called maps in your mohaa/main folder. Then create 2 more folders in the maps folder: Name one dm and the other obj. If your map is sp put it in the maps folder. If its deathmatch or teamdeathmatch put it in the dm folder. If its an objective map put it in the obj folder - then try what JV said..if you've done all this and it doesn't work send the .bsp file to a mate to check if it works on his pc.
