Need some help on 1st person player skins... -

I just finished my 1st player skin, tested it and it worked fine. Only problem is the 1st person look shows a different sleeves than mine. I have .tga files for both 3rd and 1st person view. My skin is based on Axis wehrmact soldier so the sleeve iam seeing is the wehrmact sleeve.
Prior to that I managed to force my sleeve to show by adding my sleeve .tga into the textures folder with the same name as the original wehrmact sleeve (sv_wehrmact.tga). I found it worked too well: it caused also other people’s self made skins that were based on wehrmact soldier look like mine from 1st person view while the 3rd person view looked ok. Ive also tried modify the myskin_fps.tik like this: “surface viewsleeves shader camosgt_view” (the name of my sleeve is camosgt_view.tga). That line was used in some self made skins, but somehow it didn’t work on my skin (I was still seeing the wehrmact sleeve).
I ve read many tutorials on player skinning. They don’t concentrate very much on 1st person skins. Im just guessing that the problem lies in myskin_fps.tik file and its settings. Plz, if some1 knows how to edit 1st person skins, send me step by step info on that.
