Red Faction -

Ever play it? I still say this game has the best potential to make it HUGE in the modding community, but unfortuneatly, it did not.
The cool thing about this game, was the Geo-Mod technoligy, which let you blow a hole in almost anything, it was fantastic. Here's some screenies:

This one I was trying to carve JOE into the wall, heh. I didn't realize the explosions were so huge. The best is carving out a huge stone in the ceiling, almost like a spike, then cutting it with a rocket, which sends it, hopefully, onto someones head! lol

I played some of the first one for ps2, it was ok. The second one looks like it might be good.

I have that lying around here somewhere. Not to bad in single player, except for the hyper speed AI. The multi is really bad. The whole joy of this game comes from the Geo-mod. Can yo imagine Mohaa with everything avaible for destruction.... Oooh dream game. Pesky sniper... a quick gadzooka round into the local desrtoys teh sniper and his hiding spot. Unfortunatly it would make RL whores far to rampant.
Classic game, with a great technoligy that never caught on. To this gamers great dismay.

I loved that game on PS2. I could never get it to work on PC though, as it was incompatible with XP. It just died at startup.

OHH MAN!! I LOVED THAT GAME!!! I STILL HAVE IT!!! Memories! My friend and I got this one custom map of an oversized bathroom so it made you, the player, look like a rat. There was a lightfixture on the ceiling and so we decided we wanted to get up there. We started to tunnel in the walls and up the ceiling until we got in it. No one's bullets could penetrate it lol. I loved that game
Joe, we should play that game agains sometime....damn, that's a great game.

Heh, that game had the easiest lock doors to get by. All you do it blow a hole around it,No use searching for a key when you can just tunnel. Though one time I tried to go around the door but I never found away out of the cave.

That game blew, aside from the "geomod" the graphics wre crap, it was barely a step above the outdated half-life graphics.

Same with me, but I got it last night! biggrin: Run it in Compatibility mode for Windows 2000, and disable Virtual Themes, works like a charm, as you can see.
Yes, the high point of that game was Geo-Mod technoligy, I have no frickin clue WHY no one else has made this, this is the coolest damn thing to put in a FPS by far.
