ok.. here is my problem.. i double click a server to join... and i am looking at the screen that says "Connecting to Sever..." for about 4 minutes !!! after that I MIGHT join the server i chose.... isn't 4 minutes too long?! i have DSL for God's sake..

1) Make sure you are using V1.11 (MOHAA) or V2.11 (Spearhead).

2) Try to join a server with the lowest ping possible.

3) Sometimes, servers will have on special rules that won't allow certian IP addresses to join, or certian pings, either.

well.... i have version 1.11 and it was just fine for me to join a server a couple of months ago....i havent played for a while though..anyways i am back....and i have the correct version..i join servers with an OK ping.. but still i wait for ages in the "connecting to sever.." screen so something else is certainly wrong!!!! i have DSL so its like "WTF??" eek:

WHAT AM I GOING TO DO? please help : hake:

having dsl doesn't automatically give you a ping when you're oh, 7000 miles from the server?

strik0r is correct. you may have a intermitted problem causing your ping to increase.

I would check several server and not just one.

make sure you multi player settings are at DSL and not ISDN or other settings...
