Honestly i hate to say it but the Soviets probaly would of won haveing 3 times the military of the United States

do you mean if the military got into the war? from what i understand it was mostly just a political standoff between Russia and the US

Both sides would have destroyed each other with nukes, and taken the rest of the world with them.

In afghanistan we were never fighting an opposing nation, or a real opposing army. I wouldnt call it a war. Target practice? biggrin:

Afganistan isn't a war...it isn't anything really. Afganistan is just one big training misson.

Yes, with about 30 coalition soldiers and 5000 civillians killed I wouldnt really call it a target practice.
