Every time I do C:\format C:/S

I got a error message telling me that a progam is using my hard drive.I tried several times.Couldn't erase the damn hard drive.

There's anything else I can do.

gotta boot from a disk or use your winXP cd to reformat your drive

http://www.bootdisk.com <--- get your boot disk here, if you don't have winXP cd

u have to boot from your winXP - change your BIOS or CMOS to boot from CD first, then change it back to normal when you're finished formating and installing
