Default MOHAA - The End... - 02-27-2003, 07:56 PM

MOHAA pisses me off now frankly...I haven't played in a month for longer than 30 minutes, and I haven't played in the last 2 weeks whatsoever, and I'm a former MOHAA addict. This game is coming to a close...

I'll admit it, I'm good. I get daily proposals to join clans, most of which I've never heard of, but I decline them off gracefully usually, because I don't know the members, and if I'm going to join a clan, I don't care about the talent level in it, I just want to have fun with the members. If I find they're a fun bunch, then I'll join, but if they're ranked in top #10 in some ladder, and they act like a bunch of bitches, they can screw off..
Anyways, I finally found a clan that I like. They are fun, and they hold my interest. So, I was ready to join...and they say "you can't join yet. We have to see if you cheat or not". That's okay, fine by me. Just get it over with so I can add the tag. But no, they delay and delay. I haven't played MOHAA lately, but when I do, I have been playing with them, but they still haven't done a screenshot on me or anything...and it's been 3 weeks since that. And I know it isn't a talent issue, because I'm on top 90% of the time.

So to get to my point: I'M PISSED OFF. THIS GAME HAS BECOME SO CORRUPT WITH CHEATERS, THAT THE ACTUAL GOOD PLAYERS, EVEN IF THEY'RE NOT CHEATING, ARE STILL ACCUSED OF CHEATING.

This marks the end of MOHAA I think...I can't tolerate being accused of cheating near everytime I'm on top of the kill board, or if I'm not accused, I know someone in that server at least is suspecting I cheat...

I better find a good-hearted non-competitive clan, or my MOHAA days are done.

P.S. No updates in over a month on AlliedAssault.com...damn...MOHAA probably is already finished..

That is =[LLC]= summed up into a sentence. We only play for fun. Our entire server is dedicated to trying to let our regualrs have a good time. We use team speak 2 to talk. You can click on my sig to go to our site. Just leave a message on the forum and I hope to see you there.

Exactly what he said, d00d. LLC, OTD, and YTD all work and play on one server, which is constantly modded and played by regulars. It's worth a second try: http://www.allaboutnothing.net for info.

This is the real problem. However, I think that within the next 4-6 months most cheaters will have moved on to other games. So will developers of cheats, I guess. They will not stick to MoHAA forever. Question is: Will we?

Maybe this is wishful thinking, but still, might be true.

Fact is, on some servers I have been playing lately (public ones), most notorious cheaters have left already. I guess winning using cheats gets boring...

Note: I play MoHAA, not Spearhead. I have Spearhead, but I don't like it. So maybe most cheaters are cheating on Spearhead servers now?

DoD IS a great game, but not everyone has Half-Life to play it. The main way to keep enjoyment of the game high is playing on a well-known and friendly server. Also, having a voicechat proggie like Teamspeak or Roger Wilco helps too! biggrin:

Just recently, I started playing CS...that game is even worse for hackers...and DoD, I downloaded it, played it for 3 minutes, and deleted it. I don't play games much. In fact, MOH and NBA Live are prolly the only games I've ever played for over 5 hours total. lol. I think my gaming days are fun. I used to be in APE clan...I loved it. We all got a long so well, but cheating eventually pissed us off, so we dropped out of ladders, and then some members who like the competitive aspect of MOHAA more, quit. and APE was no more..

Anyways, if MOHAA is done, I don't have an issue with it. I like Spearhead too. Apparently it's harder to hack, and I've noticed less hackers (that i suspect) and the graphics are better...just you need to get on a good server. I guess I'll just use my weeknights for NBA Live now..unless I find a fun clan..?

Try a good adventure game like Syberia or Hitman 2.
